Description
Made using 100% recycled down and fabrics, the Earthrise Hooded Pullover continues our commitment to developing simple and highly functional insulated clothing that is produced responsibly. Embracing the heat-retaining pullover style of our heritage climbing smocks, it’s ideal for climbers and ski-mountaineers operating in cooler conditions, whether navigating icy couloirs or spending exhausted nights on exposed portaledges.
Optimally filled with 700-fill power-down insulation and matched with a perfluorocarbon-free windproof outer to reduce wind chill, the Earthrise Hooded Pullover is an ideal mid or booster layer for the winter mountains. When roiling clouds cover remote alpine walls in chilly gloom, the elastane-bound cuffs and hem and the adjustable helmet-compatible hood help to seal in valuable warmth. The zipped Kangaroo hand pocket is perfect for thawing frozen fingers, while a further zipped pocket securely stores essentials and can be accessed when wearing a harness. When required, the pullover packs down into its pocket for easy storage in a pack or clipping to a harness.
Lightweight, warm and windproof, the Earthrise Hooded Pullover is an efficient layer that can be worn all day, from the first click of bindings in the morning glare until the final turns of the rapidly fading day.
For insulation, we reclaim the very best recycled duck and goose down to use. Selected down is carefully processed to ensure continued performance and give our technical outdoor wear new life. The inner and outer fabrics are 100% recycled, made from pre-consumer fabric offcuts and treated with a perfluorocarbon-free water repellency treatment to help shed light rain and snow.
